Abstract
This contribution represents the initial endeavor to explore the usage of literary names (both of authors and characters) in Italian songs. The study aims to uncover the primary strategies employed in creating intertextuality within the lyrics of contemporary Italian rap music (2018-2022), a musical genre where this trend has become increasingly prominent in recent years.
